Rick Leder (trumpet) is principal trumpet of West Bay Opera, a member of the Stockton Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the SF Opera, the SF Lyric Opera, the Des Moines Metro Opera and the Sarasota Opera.  He has trumpet studios in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, San Jose and Saratoga. His students have been members of the San Jose, California, Peninsula and El Camino Youth Symphonies. A founding member of the Altos Brass, he studied with Rob Roy McGregor (Los Angeles Philharmonic), Tim Wilson (San Francisco Opera), Laurie McGaw (San Francisco Symphony) and Lou Ranger (Aspen Music Festival).
