
Martha Wasley is an active Bay Area pianist concertizing as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. She has performed with numerous ensembles including the Ariel ensemble, the Pacific Chamber Players, and the Peregrine Trio, and in many series including Mozart in Monterey, Midsummer Mozart, the Old First Church Concert series, Mills College, San Francisco Performances at Six, the Incline Village Chamber Series, Noon Concerts at the University of California at Berkeley, the Sacramento Chamber Society Performances, Sacramento State University, Berkeley Chamber Performances and many other northern California venues. She has also performed in Carmel, Mendocino and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Aspen, Colorado. She studied music at Mills College, University of California at Berkeley, and the Aspen Music School. Among her teachers were Brooks Smith and Paul Hersh. She is currently on the music faculty at the U.C. Berkeley where she teaches piano and chamber music.
