Daniel Wood (horn) founded Quadre Horn Quartet in 1998 performing over 1,000 concerts and composing for all four of their albums. As a composer, recent commissions include “Our Hot Date with Destiny” for wind quintet and “Space Available” for horn duet. He presents solo improvisational shows using the horn, piano and electronics including “East meets West” (2012) and “Brother, Can you Spare a Dime” (2009). He lectures on the Business of Music and runs Solid Wood Publishing offering over 150 titles. He is the chair of musicianship/composition for the SF Conservatory of Music, preparatory division.
