A Steinway artist, Dr. Jonathan Edward Mann enjoys a dynamic performing and teaching career that has taken him across the United States and Europe. The 2010-11 season includes Dr. Mann’s debuts at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the Dame Myra Hess series in Chicago, and a concerto appearance with the Amherst Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Mann received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance under Dr. Karen Shaw from Indiana University, Bloomington, where he was associate instructor and faculty member of the Young Pianist’s Program. He earned his doctorate in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of  Music where he served as teaching assistant to James Tocco and faculty member of the College-Conservatory’s Preparatory Department.

A highly sought-after collaborator, Dr. Mann has performed with internationally renowned vocalists and instrumentalists in such venues as the Brevard Music Center, Glimmerglass Festival, Indiana University Opera and Ballet Theater, University of Cincinnati Opera Theater, and Opera Lytes. Dr. Mann serves on the Noontime Concerts board of directors.
