The Ariel Ensemble is a piano quintet of Northern California musicians bringing pianist Dimitriy Cogan together with a string quartet consisting of violinists William Barbini and Kineko Okamura, violist Elizabeth Prior, and cellist Victoria Ehrlich. For today’s Noontime Concerts™ recital at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral, they prepared a program consisting of a string quartet by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and a piano trio by Paul Schoenfield.
