Chase Jackson is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, music producer, and educator based in Los Angeles, CA. Born in Oakland, California, Chase Jackson began playing the vibraphone and marimba at an early age at jam sessions with local musicians. As a student at Berkeley High School, Jackson was awarded numerous outstanding soloist and composer awards at state and national music competitions. Chase studied jazz composition and performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Political Science at Oberlin College and completed his masters in music at the University Of Southern California.

Chase has performed his original music throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States at venues including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scot’s, Yoshi’s, and The Blue Note. As a jazz composer and improviser he has performed with jazz innovators and masters Robin Eubanks, Sean Jones, Russell Ferrante, Bob Mintzer, Joshua Redman, Ambrose Akinmusire, Geoffrey Keezer, Gary Novak, Steve Turre, Calvin Keys, Justin Faulkner, Leo Blanco, Jamey Haddad, Rufus Reid, Chris Thile and Gary Bartz. He has also had his music placed on major TV networks including The CW, MTV & TNT.

Chase currently lives in Los Angeles where he is involved in a multitude of original projects that include modern jazz, film music, live electronic music and working with artists in a wide range of genres including acoustic folk, pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Chase regularly performs on vibraphone, marimba, guitar, bass, and keyboards. Through all these projects, Chase aims to combine his experience with musical tradition with the spirit of innovation and exploration.

Originally from a small town in Northern California, bassist, composer, and songwriter Owen Clapp grew up in a community supportive of aspiring musicians. He came up through the jazz ranks, playing in the award-winning SFJAZZ High School All-Star Ensemble, and the California All-State Jazz Ensemble before studying music at UCLA, where he was mentored by renowned bassist John Clayton and studied with Los Angeles Philharmonic bassists Christopher Hanulik and Peter Rofé.

His versatility on upright bass, electric bass, and key bass is regularly sought out by leading artists across a range of genres, from jazz to pop and hip-hip including Anderson Paak, Rozi Crane, India Carney, Kenny Burrell, John Clayton, Gilbert Castellanos, Bruce Forman,  and George Watsky. Owen has performed in Europe, Africa, and Mexico, in addition to across the USA. He is an endorsed artist with MTD Kingston electric basses and uses Bartolini pickups.

Mike Quigg began playing the drums at age 9 and hasn’t looked back since. He grew up in Tracy, CA where he honed his craft while studying with a private instructor for 7 years and within that time, grew to be a well known and highly sought after drummer.

While attending San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA he co-ran a weekly Jam Session at The Take 5 Club, and he has had the opportunity to play with renowned artists such as Eric Marienthal, Gilbert Castellanos, Claudia Villela, Joe Gilman, Scott Barnhill, Keith Saunders, and Smith Dobson.

He went on to get his Bachelors in Music from the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, CA.
