Rhonda Bradetich • Flutist

Rhonda Bradetich is an Idaho native and recipient of a Fellowship Award from the Idaho Commission On The Arts, which also chose her to be a solo performer for the Idaho Governor’s Awards in the Arts in 1994.  She has been a regular soloist with the Spokane Symphony as part of the Festival At Sandpoint, where she also studied chamber music and jazz with Gunther Schuller. In 2016, she was a featured performer at the Musique-Cordiale Music Festival in Provence, France.

She has been a member of the Honolulu Symphony and the Orquestra de Monterrey, Mexico. Since moving to the Bay Area, she has played with the San Francisco Symphony, the SF Ballet, and various other orchestras.

As the booking agent for Goldenflute Arts, she toured around the US in numerous concerts and residencies, where she performed on several flutes, including Native American flutes and the alto and piccolo.

As a volunteer she has been involved with nonprofit arts organizations since she was 15, serving on the boards of the Pend Oreille Arts Council, the Festival at Sandpoint, and Arts Northwest and as a conference coordinator for the Western Arts Alliance national conference. She was president of the board for Music at the Mission, a nonprofit chamber music organization based in the East Bay from 2018-2023.

She recently completed her training at Napa Valley Wine Academy as a level 2 certified wine specialist through the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust.

Rhonda is an advanced open-water diver and advocate for ocean conservation.

Katherine Lee Pianist

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin (MM, DMA) and The University of Southern California (BM), pianist Katherine Lee has studied with Anton Nel, Norman Krieger, John Perry, Hans Boepple, and Jed Galant.  She has participated in the U.S. Chopin Competition in Miami, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Tanglewood Music Festival, and was a featured soloist with the Wintergreen Music Festival Orchestra in Virginia. A Young Artist Guild alumna of MTAC, Katherine won numerous piano competitions such as the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) California state competition in both the collegiate and the high-school divisions and the MTAC state concerto competition.

As an active chamber musician and piano teacher in the Bay Area, Katherine is passionate about providing opportunities to play chamber music to local young musicians.  She founded Happy Notes Music Camp, a summer chamber music day camp, in her hometown of Fremont in 2003 and served as its director for many years.  She also joined Music at the Mission as a board member, chamber musician, and director of its student chamber music festival, ChamberFest.  In April 2018, Katherine was awarded Music at the Mission’s Volunteer of the Year Award.  Katherine is excited to devote herself to the Bay Area music community through teaching and performance.  Katherine is currently an active member of MTAC in the San Mateo County Branch.
