The Rites of Spring at Noontime Concerts...

Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 20th as we honor Johann Sebastian Bach. It's his 327th birthday and everyone is invited to savor signature works including Sonata for Violin, BWV 1017 and Sonata for Viola da Gamba, BWV 1029. These works and others will be astutely presented in the nimble fingers of Bach specialists David Wilson playing violin, Yuko Tanaka on harpsichord and Farley Pearce, viola da gamba.

Thomas Tallis, c.1505-1585
On Tuesday, April 3, Artist's Vocal Ensemble (AVE), under the direction of its founder, Jonathan Dimmock, will share with us a special concert for Holy Week at Old St. Mary's Cathedral. Join us for what some consider Thomas Tallis' greatest sacred choral work, Lamentations of Jeremiah the Prophet.
